Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. To see quotes, you answer six questions: gender, birth date, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount and term. Those six facts suffice to return rates. Your name, address and full health history are only gathered if you choose to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the rates carriers quote for your chosen class. After underwriting, the carrier sets the real premium, and may confirm, upgrade or lower the class. Nothing here is an insurance offer or price guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, and the application builds from your chosen quote, then moves to the carriers' secure platform. You can pause and return, signing electronically throughout. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), oversees the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It varies by carrier, amount and your profile. Carriers offering instant approval can decide same-day for qualified people; each quote shows whether an exam is required, may be needed, or is not needed.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term matching years when your death would hurt them financially: a mortgage, kids at home, a business debt. Longer terms raise the monthly cost but freeze the rate longer. The quote tool compares 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years at once.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool does not gather contact info, we do not buy or sell visitor data, and we count visitors without cookies. The privacy page has the full list of what we gather and who sees it.
